Yah!! the water system works!!

Chris and Irene came to stay for the weekend. Great weekend - lots of talk, laughs, exercise and ideas for the Waitekauri Valley Retreat. One idea was starting up a notebook that would capture the journey.....hence the creation of this blog!!!

Waking up to a still morning today, meant it was a great chance to spray weeds along the front driveway entrance and  vegetable garden.  Prickles look pretty coloured pink! Put in two more sections of the irrigation system in the vegetable garden - great feeling turning on that tap and seeing it work!! The sweetcorn, capsicums, peas and herbs will be happy!!
